In the area of structural components in aluminum casting, there are often deviations from the target geometry after the casting process and subsequent heat treatment.

Various variants for achieving the necessary dimensional accuracy are too cost-intensive, such as thickening and subsequent mechanical processing of critical surfaces. Or the too small quantities, which make a product-specific straightening plant not profitable are reasons for a robot-assisted straightening plant.

The goal here is to have as modular and flexible a straightening plant as possible by simply exchanging the component fixtures, which makes it possible to straighten several different components and projects over one plant by means of set-up units and thus to ensure the highest possible utilization.
